WAHVA Auditor Training and Certification
WAHVA Scheme Auditors undertake an important role by conducting audits of transport operators enrolled in the scheme.
To be able to conduct audits you must have completed the Western Australian Heavy Vehicle (WAHVA) Auditor training and certification program that is administered by Main Roads.
Steps to complete your WAHVA Auditor Training and Certification
Step 1: Mandatory Certifications
To be recognised by Main Roads as a certified Auditor it is necessary for the Auditor to hold the following Certification:
Mandatory Certifications
- Management Systems Auditing (Au); and
- Quality Management Systems (QM)
Optional Certification (Required for any Auditor leading a team of Auditors on any WAHVA audit)
- Leading Management Systems Audit Teams (TL)
Step 2: Register with Main Roads
Heavy Vehicle Auditors must complete the WAHVA Auditor Registration Form (WARF) and submit the completed WARF and supporting documents to hvamodules@mainroads.wa.gov.au
Step 3: Create your online account
Once Main Roads has received and processed your WARF. You will need to create a Main Roads My Account, where you can access your online WAHVA Auditor Training and Certification program.
Step 4: Begin your training & certification
Once you have set up access to your online training and certification system you can begin.
Step 5: Certification
Once you have successfully completed your online training, you’ll be issued with a WAHVA Auditor Certification that will allow you to complete audits of transport operators enrolled in the WAHVA Scheme.
