Upgrading a 17-kilometre section between Bunbury and Busselton with new lanes, road improvements and bridge construction.

Bussell hwy Duplication - Sues Road from Sep 23

What's happening

The dualling of Bussell Highway is progressing well, with road construction continuing whilst weather conditions are favourable.

The intersection of Sues Road and Bussell Highway has been reopened under temporary traffic management, with the right turn into Sues Road remaining closed. A detour will be available via Vasse Highway during this closure.

Periods of closures to the side roads impacted by the project will be required over the coming months, to facilitate tie ins of the local road network to the new dual carriageway. Appropriate detours will be in place during these times.

Visit our Travel Map for more information.

For the safety of all road users and road workers in the area, please follow detour signage and obey traffic management when travelling through the area. Plan ahead to avoid traffic delays.
