Indemnity and Acknowledgement
The permit holder acknowledges and accepts all risks associated with travel undertaken under this permit and indemnifies and absolves Main Roads Western Australia, their employees, contractors and agents from and against any loss, damage, claim, liability, cost, expense, personal injury or death arising directly or indirectly from travel undertaken under this permit.
The permit holder accepts full responsibility for all costs arising from travel on a closed road, including but not limited to vehicle recovery, towing, accommodation, emergency response, rescue operations, repairs, medical expenses, environmental remediation and any other associated costs.
The permit holder further acknowledges that Main Roads, emergency services and other support agencies are under no obligation to provide assistance, recovery, or rescue services and that the permit holder remains responsible for the actions of all drivers, occupants, contractors and vehicles operating under this permit.
