What's Happening
We are planning for an intersection upgrade at the junction of Morley Drive and McGilvray Avenue, in Morley, to improve safety.
Having assessed several options to address the high crash rate at this intersection, we are developing a concept design that will remove the right-turn out of McGilvray Avenue.
The concept also includes:
- A new U-turn facility between McGilvray Avenue and Bagshot Place
- A give-way for the left turn into McGilvray Avenue from Morley Drive
- Extended right-turn pocket from Morley Drive into McGilvray Avenue
This $4 million project is funded by the State Government’s Black Spot program.
