Local businesses helping to build the southern section of BORR
The Bunbury Outer Ring Road (BORR) continues to make significant progress towards completion with a lot of work taking place along its southern section. Who are the local businesses working to bring BORR to life and what have they been doing on the project?

Australind Contracting
Australind Contracting has been supplying and installing the agricultural fencing across the entire alignment.
Australind Water Boring & Civil
Australind Water Boring & Civil have been delivering water boring services for construction water essential to the development of the project infrastructure.
Azform
Azform have been involved with BORR since 2021, completing drainage end treatment in-situ (meaning poured onsite rather than precast) concrete works.
BCE Surveying and Thompsons Surveying
Both BCE Surveying and Thompsons Surveying have been providing surveying services on BORR.
BCP
BCP constructed the Bussell Highway-Centenary Road roundabout (including earthworks and pavement) and have provided plant hire with operators across the project.
Donnybrook Civil
Donnybrook Civil has been working on BORR since the end of 2023, installing the pit and pipe drainage network across the central and southern sections of the alignment.
Ishiguchi
Ishiguchi is a local Aboriginal business. They provided plant in the form of two graders and a watercart which were all operated by members of this family business.
Koormal Contracting
Koormal Contracting is supplying a posi-track and street sweeper with an operator for the project.
Ludlow Limestone
Ludlow Limestone supplied limestone road base for the southern sections of BORR.
MJB
MJB has been supplying precast reinforced concrete drainage materials across the alignment.
Picton Civil
Picton Civil has been providing plant and labour for self-performed earthworks, across the project. They are also installing drainage in the northern section of the alignment and completed the first local roads package on the project.
R & N Contracting
This local Aboriginal businesses has assisted with providing and operating plant for bulk earthworks across the project including scraper machines to move large volumes of sand on the project.
Reef to Range
Reef to Range provided plant in the form of a telehandler and tipper truck, and completed rock pitching installation in the north of the alignment.
Supersett
Supersett has been installing box culverts, including some of the largest ones on BORR, as well as other miscellaneous in-situ concreting jobs.
SW Blocklaying
SW Blocklaying completed limestone wall installations, including some of the largest limestone walls on BORR.
UMCC
UMCC has been working on the project since 2021, supplying a roller operated by a graduate from the first cohort of the Yaka Dandjoo ready-for-work program.
Wildwood Stone
Wildwood Stone has installed multiple limestone retaining walls in the southern end of the project and they are currently installing walls in the central and north.
