What's Happening
Service relocation works and upcoming roundabout construction works have required the permanent closure of the existing footpath on the northern side of Jeffrey Road.
A new footpath has been constructed to cater for pedestrians, and to ensure safe access through the area, signage directing pedestrians to the path along with traffic management is onsite.
Western Power is undertaking service relocation works along Jeffrey Road, including removal of nine existing power poles. From 8 September, 2026, street lighting will not be available in this area. However, to help maintain pedestrian safety, temporary lighting will be provided at the western end of the footpath, at the crossing, along Jeffrey Road.
More information about the construction program will be provided in coming months.
