What's happening
We've completed new acceleration lanes from Wellesley Road to Forrest Highway southbound and Binningup Road to Forrest Highway northbound.
Planning is now focused on new acceleration lanes planned from Forestry Road and Preston Beach Road to Forrest Highway northbound, as well as intersection improvements at Myalup Beach Road.
The new acceleration lanes built at Wellesley Road and Binningup Road and planned for Forestry Road and Preston Beach Road are designed to give motorists the opportunity to safely merge with Forrest Highway traffic.
Intersection improvements planned at the junction of Forrest Highway and Myalup Beach Road also include new lighting, line-marking and signage.
