Eric Street Bridge Refurbishment

What's Happening

Having completed essential repairs, we are now exploring additional design options that will allow load limits to be removed from the Eric Street Bridge over the Perth-Fremantle rail line, in Cottesloe.

Built in 1912, this bridge was not built to cater for today’s traffic loads. Options are being considered that will ensure that it can continue to operate well into the future.

This $10 million project is equally funded by the Australian Government’s Bridges Renewal Program and the State Government.
