What’s happening

We are planning to upgrade the busy intersection of Albany Highway, Olga Road and Kelvin Road in Maddington, to improve traffic flow and enhance safety for road users and pedestrians.

This project is funded by the State Government and, in 2023, the Water Corporation completed the relocation of two large water mains under Albany Highway to prepare the site.

With work on the Armadale Train Line now complete, further service relocations are planned to prepare the site for construction to start in the second half of 2026, requiring occasional traffic management and after hours works.

Construction for the intersection upgrade is expected to start before the end of 2026.
