HVS Update 3-2026

Mid West-Gascoyne Region - City of Greater Geraldton - RAV Turning Restriction on Warren Road

Please be advised that safety assessments carried out by Main Roads Heavy Vehicle Services and Main Roads Rail Safety Branch has identified non-compliant swept paths and inadequate stacking distance for Restricted Access Vehicles (RAVs) travelling over the level crossing on Geraldton Mt Magnet Road, adjacent to Warren Road, Mullewa, within the City of Greater Geraldton.

As a result, the following turning restrictions will be applied to the relevant RAV Networks:

Geraldton Mt Magnet Road and Warren Road Intersection

"No left turn permitted into Geraldton Mt Magnet Road from Warren Road."

"No right turn permitted into Warren Road from Geraldton Mt Magnet Road."

  • Tandem Drive Networks 2 to 8
  • AMMS Tandem Drive Networks 2.2 to 6.2 & 2.3 to 6.3
  • Tri Drive Networks 1 to 4
  • AMMS Tri Drive Networks 1.2 to 4.2 & 1.3 to 4.3
  • PBS Tandem Drive Networks 1B.1 to 2B.1, 1B.2 to 2B.2 & 1B.3 to 2B.3
  • PBS Tri Drive Networks TD1B.1 to TD2B.1, TD1B.2 to TD2B.2 & TD1B.3 to TD2B.3

Main Roads will implement the above changes on Wednesday 18 February 2026, which will be reflected in the relevant Road Tables and RAV Mapping Tool on our website from that date.
