Main Roads Heavy Vehicle Services (HVS) has reviewed RAV access on Bushby Road, between Bussell Highway and Caves Road in the Shire of Augusta - Margaret River, following safety concerns raised by road users.

Assessments confirmed the following safety issues:

• Non-compliant low speed swept paths at the intersections of Bussell Highway and Caves Road.
• Insufficient overhead clearance due to vegetation encroaching beyond the seal edge, with evidence of vehicle contact.

As a result, the following RAV Network access will be removed from Bushby Road, effective Wednesday 19 November 2025:

• Tandem Drive Networks 2 to 4
• Tri Drive Network TD1
• PBS Tandem Drive Network PBS1B.1
• 27.5m Oversize B-Double Network

These changes will be reflected in the Road Tables and RAV Mapping Tool on our website from the above effective date.
