HMMS Business Rules Update
Following changes to the Mass and Dimension Limits in August 2026, Main Roads has updated the HMMS Business Rules.
The requirement relating to statutory mass weights has been removed, and the applicable general mass requirements and tolerances are now detailed in the Business Rules.
The updated Business Rules should be used when determining the mass requirements for vehicles operating under the HMMS.
