Main Roads Heavy Vehicle Services (HVS) advises that, following ongoing feedback from heavy vehicle pilot industry representatives regarding safety concerns associated with the Traffic Guidance Scheme (TGS) for the Tonkin Hwy contraflow between Hale Rd and Abernethy Loop Ramp, the TGS has now been reviewed and revised. 

In response to industry feedback, the minimum number of pilots required to safely facilitate the contraflow movement has increased to ensure safety for all road users and operational personnel.
