Main Roads Heavy Vehicle Services is pleased to advise of the introduction of the Oversize Boat Order. The Order removes the need to apply for a Class 1 RAV Oversize Boat Transport Period Permit when transporting an oversize boat for a purpose other than in connection with a business and has been introduced as part of reducing red tape.

The application, road access and conditions of the Order remain the same as the provisions under the period permit and operators requiring this access are reminded to familiarize themselves with the Order and related Operating Conditions specified within the Order.

The Oversize Boat Order is now available in the Gazette on the State Law Publisher website.
