Please be advised that Main Roads Heavy Vehicle Services (HVS) will be implementing turning restrictions for Restricted Access Vehicles (RAVs) on Abercrombie Road, at the intersections of Anketell Road and Thomas Road, following safety concerns raised by the City of Kwinana.

HVS has undertaken a safety review of RAV access at the above intersections on Abercrombie Road and verified that certain RAV turning movements pose a risk to road safety.

As a result, the following turning restrictions will be applied to the relevant RAV Networks:

Abercrombie Road and Anketell Road Intersection 

"No left turn permitted into Abercrombie Road from Anketell Road."

• Tandem Drive Networks 2 to 4
• AMMS Tandem Drive Networks 2.3 to 4.3

 Abercrombie Road and Thomas Road Intersection 

"No left turn permitted into Abercrombie Road from Thomas Road."

• Tandem Drive Networks 2 to 4
• AMMS Tandem Drive Networks 2.3 to 4.3

The above changes will be implemented on Wednesday 3 September 2025, which will be reflected in the relevant Road Tables and RAV Mapping Tool on our website from this date.
