Main Roads Heavy Vehicle Services (HVS) advises that Restricted Access Vehicle (RAV) access will be downgraded on the section of Hospital Road, between Pioneer Road and Oliver Road and a RAV turning restriction implemented at the intersection of Manmanning Road and Carter Street, Wongan Hills.

HVS has undertaken a safety review of RAV access on the above roads and verified the current level of RAV access poses a risk to road safety.

As a result, HVS will be removing the following 36.5m RAV Networks from the above section of Hospital Road.

• Tandem Drive Networks 5 to 6
• AMMS Tandem Drive Networks 5.1 to 6.1

HVS will also be implementing the following turning restriction at the intersection of Carter Street and Manmanning Road to the relevant 36.5m RAV Networks.

"No left turn permitted into Carter Street from Manmanning Road."

The above changes will take effect from 23 July 2025 and will be reflected in the relevant Road Tables and on the RAV Mapping Tool on our website from that date.
