Overmass Single Trip Permit Application Form

Operator Details

To apply for a Permit, you must be a registered Operator with Main Roads Western Australia. If you do not have an Operator Number, please complete the Restricted Access Vehicle Operator form. Please ensure that all vehicles listed on this application request have been registered with Main Roads. To register vehicles, please complete an Application to List or Update a Vehicle form for each motor vehicle and trailer.

Prior to submitting your application, refer to the Single Trip OSOM Vehicle Standard Operating Conditions, Movement of High Risk OSOM Vehicles Policy and if applicable Guidelines for Preparing a Transport Management Plan for an Oversize Overmass Movement.

No product or service can be provided until you have been registered as an operator. Please complete the RAV Operator Registration form before completing this application.

Please note that if you proceed to submit this application without a valid Operator Number, it will not be processed.

Permit Details

Permit cost: The greater of $25 or 1 cent per tonne per kilometre (rounded to the nearest 5 cents) of the vehicle and its permitted load.

Ground contact width is the distance between the outermost point of the ground contact of the outside tyres on each end of the axle.

Ground contact width in relation to an axle group means the greatest contact width of all the axles in the group.

If you wish to pay by cheque, please either post or pay directly to 525 Great Eastern Highway, Redcliffe WA 6104.
