Containerised Freight

Concessional permits for containerised freight provide additional mass on eligible vehicle combinations when transporting intermodal containers that have been imported or are being exported overseas only.
Accredited Containerised Freight Period Permit

The Accredited Containerised Freight Period Permit allows specified tandem drive prime mover combinations to have additional mass on axle groups on approved networks, subject to the vehicles meeting certain eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Requirements

All vehicles must meet all the requirements specified in the Accredited Containerised Freight Period Permit Supporting Evidence & Eligibility Checklist.
