Christmas and New Year Opening Hours at HVS
Main Roads Heavy Vehicle Services (HVS) advises that on Friday 12 December 2025, the HVS public counter will be closed from 12pm. The Customer Information Centre will receive telephone calls on behalf of the Heavy Vehicle Helpdesk on 138 HVO (138 486) and email enquiries can be sent to hvs@mainroads.wa.gov.au
During the Christmas / New Year period, HVS will be operating in accordance with the following times:
- Thursday 18 December – Wednesday 24 December
- 7am – 5pm (reception counter open 8:30am – 4:30pm weekdays)
- Thursday 25 December – Friday 26 December
- Closed
- Monday 29 December – Wednesday 31 December
- 7am – 5pm (reception counter open 8:30am – 4:30pm weekdays)
- Thursday 1 January 2026
- Closed
- Friday 2 January 2026 onwards
- Normal service resumes
The Accreditation and Pilot Licensing team seek your assistance by requesting you submit Audits and Pilot Licence matters prior to 12 December 2025 to ensure processing before the Christmas break.
