Agricultural Vehicle Permits

A single trip permit is required for agricultural combinations or agricultural machines which fall outside the parameters of the available agricultural orders.

Agricultural Combination or Agricultural Machine Permit

To apply for a single trip agricultural permit, you first need to register as an operator and register your vehicle(s). Registered operators do not need to obtain WA Heavy Vehicle Accreditation to drive agricultural combinations and agricultural machines on a public road in WA.

Cost: $25 for a single trip permit

Bridge Crossing Permit

An Agricultural Bridge Crossing Permit is issued to allow an agricultural combination or agricultural machine to cross a bridge that is not allowed to be crossed under the available Agricultural Orders.

To assist with identifying the location of bridges, the Drive Over Structures Layer in the RAV Mapping Tool provides the location of all drive over structures in WA.

Cost: $25 for a single trip permit, or $25 for a 12 month period
