Please be advised that an onsite assessment conducted by Main Roads Heavy Vehicle Services has identified Restricted Access Vehicle (RAV) network access is no longer required and no existing properties have suitable driveway access for RAVs on the section of Gnangara Road & West Swan Road, between Tonkin Highway & Great Northern Highway, within the City of Swan.
 
The onsite assessment was undertaken in response to a request from the City of Swan to review the ongoing need for RAV access on these roads, with Stock Road now providing alternative access for heavy vehicles between Tonkin Highway & Great Northern Highway.
 
As a result, Main Roads is removing the following RAV network access from the above section of Gnangara Road & West Swan Road.

• Tandem Drive Networks 2 to 4
• Tandem Drive AMMS Networks N2.1 to N4.1
• Tandem Drive AMMS Networks N2.2 to N4.2
• Tandem Drive AMMS Networks N2.3 to N4.3
• Tri Drive Networks TD1 to TD3
• Tri Drive AMMS Networks TD1.1 to TD3.1
• Tri Drive AMMS Networks TD1.2 to TD3.2
• Tri Drive AMMS Networks TD1.3 to TD3.3

The above changes will be implemented on Wednesday 25 December 2024, which will be reflected in the relevant Road Tables and RAV Mapping Tool on our website from this date.
 
RAV network vehicles can continue to access between Tonkin Highway & Great Northern Highway locally, via Stock Road.
