HVS Update 37-2024
Enhancement of the RAV Mapping Tool
Main Roads Heavy Vehicle Services is pleased to advise the transport industry that the following enhancements have been made to the RAV Mapping Tool.
The main menu has been re-configured and updated naming conventions utilised to better align the various approved RAV Networks to the applicable permits and Orders. A quick link icon is also now included, which takes the user directly to the relevant page on our website where permit operating conditions, approved combinations and other important information is published.

The Travel Impact layers have been updated to align with the other layers of the RAV Mapping Tool, making these layers and pop-up boxes within more user friendly.

A Share link icon has been added to all pop-up boxes to enable the user to easily share the particular location and relevant information.

The Legend has been updated to include all symbology across all layers, which will automatically update to display the symbology relevant to the layers the user has activated.

The enhanced RAV Mapping Tool provides the transport industry the ability to quickly access Approved Networks, Heavy Vehicle Travel Impacts, Restricted Structures Lists, Drive Over & Under Structure Locations, WA Agricultural Pilot Zones and more, in one easy-to-use map.
Operators are reminded that updates to the RAV Mapping Tool, RAV Network Tables and Restricted Structures Lists will continue to be available for viewing every Wednesday.
