Bridge 4482 - Replacement Works

Phase:Clearing proposal closed for submission

Main Roads Western Australia (Main Roads) proposes to replace Wooroloo Bridge (No. 4482) from a one-lane bridge with a new two-lane bridge (the Proposal). The replacement of Bridge 4482 with a two-lane bridge will improve the safety of the infrastructure for its users, as it is part of the two-lane O’Brien Road. The Proposal will also require the establishment of an access track adjacent (south) of the Wooroloo Bridge. Ground disturbance, including the clearing of up to 0.46 ha of remnant native vegetation within a 0.85 ha Development Envelope, on Wooroloo Brook will be necessary to accommodate the access track and for the construction of the new two-lane bridge and its abutments.
