Cooperative Bulk Handling Group (CBH) Site Access Improvements South Coast Highway (H008) SLK 366.35 - 367.60

Phase:Clearing proposal closed for submission

The Cooperative Bulk Handing Group (CBH) has expanded its Munglinup Receival point operations in the Shire of Ravensthorpe. Due to these upgrades, there will be more heavy vehicles entering and exiting from the site. Therefore, access points are needed to be improved to account for the extra heavy vehicles.

Main Roads Western Australia will be delivering the works on behalf of CBH. This requires localised widening and access modifications to South Coast Highway (H008) SLK 366.35 - 367.60 to accommodate for the facility’s increased grain storage capacity (the Proposal).

To accommodate for the widening and modification of the CBH access, The Proposal will require the clearing of up to 0.50ha of remnant native vegetation within a 12.42ha Development Envelope (DE). Main Roads Great Southern Region has agreed to develop and deliver the H008 works and proposes to use Main Roads’ Clearing Purpose Permit CPS 818/17 to undertake the associated clearing, with construction proposed to commence in March 2025.
