Well, from Friday 1 July you will see portable traffic lights and boom barriers more regularly through roadworks to improve road worker safety and reduce the risk of an incident. In most cases, the portable devices will be operated manually so road workers will still be on-site. 

Look up, slow down, take care when driving through roadworks. Because you wouldn’t like it in your workplace.
