December 3 is International Day of People with Disability. A day dedicated to raise efforts and increase awareness in honour of people with disabilities, celebrating their achievements and contributions. Main Roads WA recognise the value of promoting the rights and well-being of those who live with disability.

Our recruitment team and processes have consistently meet rigorous criteria, which has enabled us to join a select group of recognised Australian organisations. Main Roads is excited to continue showcasing the ‘Disability Confident Recruiter’ logo on our website and job advertisements. This initiative aims to encourage more candidates with disabilities to apply for our job vacancies.

Since 2003, Intelife has partnered with Main Roads to provide car cleaning services for our metropolitan light vehicle fleet. Based in Western Australia, Intelife is dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities to lead meaningful and fulfilling lives. Their team brings enthusiasm, energy, and a smile to every task.

Intelife also contributes through panel contracts for vegetation maintenance across the Metropolitan, Mid West-Gascoyne, and Great Southern regions.

In addition, Main Roads works with Workpower to deliver gardening and ground maintenance services in the Goldfields–Esperance and South West regions. Workpower provides disability services throughout Western Australia, helping people build skills, gain employment, and strengthen community connections.

Main Roads is committed to the access and inclusion of people with disabilities in all areas of our business, fostering an environment where individuals with disabilities have equal opportunities to secure and continue employment.
