We're committed to engaging with the community and local businesses to achieve great outcomes on the project. We have a series of targets for employment, training and local business. This includes spending a minimum of $450 m with local South West businesses and $30 m with Aboriginal businesses. It also involves employing a minimum of 10 per cent Aboriginal people within the construction workforce and giving new opportunities by targeting 10 per cent of the workforce to be previously unemployed.
