What's happening

Reconstruction and sealing of a five-kilometre unsealed section, west of the Rosslyn Hill mine turn-off, is continuing. The basecourse is more than half-way complete, culvert installed and four floodways cement stabilised.

Work will continue in early 2024, to complete basecourse, drainage and rock pitching.

Construction of a further five-kilometre section near Mt Russell is expected to commence in early 2024.

Project development activities including road design and seeking the required heritage, environmental and other approvals for a nine-kilometre realignment near West Creek (15km west of Wiluna) are continuing.
