Karragullen to Corrigin

Upgraded the highway between Karragullen and Corrigin to improve safety in the Wheatbelt.

As part of this project, we
  • Widened the shoulder between Karragullen and Brookton to extend the road width to 10 metres. Included installation of audible edge lines to help warn drivers when veering out of their lane, and reduce the risk of run-off road crashes.
  • Improved the intersection at Rabbit Proof Fence Road
  • Resurfaced road between Brookton and Corrigin

Project Timeline

  • October 2020: Upgrades started
  • June 2021: Completion
