Kwinana Beach Road Upgrade
These upgrades are set to improve safety for almost 11,000 vehicles that travel through the area each day.

Works include:
 • Upgrading the intersection of Kwinana Beach Road and Patterson Road
 • Resealing 1.5 kilometres of Patterson Road southbound
 • Reconstruct 600 metres of Kwinana Beach Road, between Patterson Road and Port Road
 • Installation of drainage to eliminate flooding
What's happening

Drainage work has started, along with widening on the south side of Kwinana Beach Road.

Changed traffic conditions will be in effect from Friday 24 September, with intermittent lane closures required on Patterson Road. Speed will also be reduced to 40km/h during construction hours.

Road users are encouraged to be roadwork aware, slow down when approaching work sites, obey the signs and signals and take care when driving through.

Work is scheduled to be completed before the grain harvest season gets underway in November.
