Duncan Road and Gordon Downs Road

We are upgrading sections of the Duncan Road and Gordon Downs Road, in the Shire of Halls Creek to improve safety and reduce wet season road closures.

Fremantle Principal Shared Path

30 September 2021

Cyclists and pedestrians can now enjoy a new 2.1 kilometre path between Victoria Street Station and North Fremantle Station.

Karrinyup Road Upgrades

08 October 2021

Downer Group have completed upgrades between Mitchell Freeway and Marmion Avenue as part of the Karrinyup Shopping Centre Redevelopment.

Outback Way

We are upgrading a 40 km section of Great Central Road with the Wongutha Way Alliance. Construction started in September 2020.

Regional Road Safety Upgrades

14 January 2021

Up to 7,000 kilometres of regional roads will be upgraded across the state by July 2022. Treatments include sealing existing, unsealed shoulders and installing audible lines to warn drivers who veer out of their lane.

The Kids’ Bridge

Transport Surveys

More than 9000 Perth households will have their daily travel movements tracked by carrying personal GPS loggers; while work continues to develop the capture of commercial transport movements.
