HEAVY LIFT AND TOW TRUCK MORATORIUM - FURTHER 2 MONTH EXTENSION

Main Roads Heavy Vehicle Services (HVS) advises Heavy Lift Tow Truck (HLTT) operators that a further 2-month extension until 30 November 2024 has been granted to the current moratorium relating to the HLTT loading control requirements, as detailed in HVS Update 14-2024 .

HLTT operators wishing to continue operating under a Heavy Lift Tow Truck Period Permit should either:

  2. Provide evidence to hvsnetworkaccess@mainroads.wa.gov.au that the HLTT has been installed with an approved On-Board Mass Management (OBM) system.

Refer to the Heavy Lift Tow Truck Period Permit - Supporting Evidence & Eligibility Checklist on our website for details of the required evidence.
