Change to Oversize Road Train and B Double Period Permit Operating Conditions – 4.9 metre permitted load height carrying oversize huts

Main Roads Heavy Vehicle Services wishes to advise the transport industry of a change to the Oversize Road Train and B Double Period Permit Operating Conditions, which will allow an increase to the current maximum load height of 4.6 metres, specifically when carrying oversize huts.

From 1 February 2021, the Operating Conditions will be amended to allow a maximum load height of 4.9 metres, specifically when carrying oversize huts up to 3.5 metres in width on the 36.5 metre double road train combination only.

The updated Operating Conditions will be published on the Oversize Road Trains and B Doubles page of the Main Roads website on 1 February 2021.
