Duck, duck, loose!

For your safety and the safety of others, don’t leave your vehicle to rescue wildlife on or around a busy road.

With ducks and other wildlife on the move, we have witnessed a number of incidents involving drivers trying to rescue wildlife.

While we understand you want to help, putting yourself and others in danger is not the answer.

Instead… leave it to us!

  • Slow down and be aware of other vehicles around you.
  • Don’t leave your vehicle to rescue wildlife on or around a busy road
  • Call us on 138 138 (hands-free of course!) and we’ll take care of it. We will close lanes and implement the necessary safety precautions to keep you and the wildlife safe.
