Time-lapse footage captured the installation of 18 bridge beams on Tonkin Highway over Railway Parade.

The bridge is part of upgrades to Tonkin Highway, forming part of the new Guildford Road interchange.

A total of 60 bridge beams, made locally, will be installed over the next 12 months as part of the Tonkin Gap project. The longest will measure 35 metres long and weigh 135 tonnes.
