Directions for Transport Operators entering WA

Domestic Border Controls: Introduction of the Transport, Freight and Logistics Directions

The Transport, Freight and Logistics Directions were approved by the Commissioner of Police on 11 August 2020 to assist in the management of COVID-19 at WA border entry points.

The Directions come into effect at 11.59 pm on 13 August and will be used to enforce COVID-19 testing, self-isolation and reporting requirements for all transport operators entering WA. The Directions do not apply to WA intrastate freight movements.
