The Transport, Freight and Logistics Directions (No. 2) came into effect at 12:01am on 14 November 2020. These directions set out the requirements that apply to transport, freight and logistics drivers immediately after their entry into Western Australia.

If a driver has been overseas in the 14 days before entering WA, the driver must quarantine for 14 days at a quarantine centre.

If the driver has been in NSW or Victoria in the 14 days before entering WA, the driver may enter WA but must comply with certain testing requirements.

If the driver has not been overseas or in NSW or Victoria in the 14 days before entering WA, the driver may enter WA but must make contact with the Department of Health or WA Police if the driver is advised by authorities in another jurisdiction that they have tested positive for COVID-19 or are a close contact of a positive case.
