WA Bike Month is back, and we encourage people of all ages and abilities to give bike riding a go!
Riding a bike is a great activity to improve your health and well-being. Research shows that students who ride to school have improved concentration, learning outcomes and cognitive abilities. It's also a fun activity that benefits the wider community by reducing traffic and pollution.
Celebrate Bike Month by getting a group of friends together for a ride, or riding with your kids to school.
A number of major road projects and upgrades are underway or planned and include an element of pedestrian and cyclist facilities. From new connections, improved routes, better lighting and safer crossings - see what is happening in your area.
