Incident Response Service

​Helping to restore traffic conditions as quickly as possible, the Incident Response Service (IRS) deployImage: iRoads incident management - medium image.JPGs specially trained mobile road crews to safely remove broken down vehicles, debris and other obstructions from the road.

Operating week days on Perth freeways and in the CBD, we attend on average 60 breakdowns, 70 incidents and collect over 400 items of debris each month.

Incidents are managed through our Road Network Operations Centre and a team of experienced operators monitor and manage the road network to identify traffic conditions.

IRS vehicles are specially designed with a ‘push pad’ at the front, made of soft foam that shapes to the design of vehicles to move it to a safe location.
