Residential Construction Products

The Residential Construction Products Permit allows specific Restricted Access Vehicle (RAV) combinations to operate on roads not listed in RAV Network 1, at full statutory axle mass limits, to cart residential construction products to residential construction sites.

Only the designated residential construction products stipulated on the permit can be carted, which includes bricks, limestone blocks, pavers, roof tiles, bags of cement and the tractor/loader. 

The RAV must travel to the residential construction site within approved Local Government areas and must travel via the most direct route from the nearest RAV Network.

 

Prime Mover Towing Semi & Pig Trailer 23 Metres permit.

This permit allows this particular combination up to 23.0m in overall combination length and it must comply with "Table A" axle spacing requirements, as prescribed in the Prime Mover & Trailer Combinations Operating Conditions.

 

Truck and Dog Trailer 21 Metres permit.

This permit allows this particular combination up to 21.0m in overall combination length. The combination must comply with "Table A" axle spacing's between the drive axle group of the truck and the dolly axle group of the dog trailer.  "Table B" axle spacing's apply to the dog trailer as prescribed in the Truck, Trailer Combinations Operating Conditions.  (This permit replaces the temporary approval previously provided to enable operators to transition to "Table A" axle spacing's. As with the previous endorsement, this temporary approval expires on 31 May 2021.)

 

Various Combinations 20 Metres permit.

This permit allows for all Category 1 vehicle combination as described in the Prime Mover, Trailer Combinations and the Truck, Trailer Combinations Operating Conditions, with a 3.5 metre height restriction, excluding the height of the tractor / loader.
