Kwinana Freeway / Forrest Highway

Overview

We are continuing a project to resurface Kwinana Freeway and Forrest Highway. From Sunday 19 March, work will be undertaken during the day to profile and seal the road, followed by asphalting in the evening.  The work area includes:

  • Kwinana Freeway - north of Mandjoogoordap Drive to Pinjarra Road
  • Forrest Highway - Pinjarra Road to 1.6 km south of Pinjarra Road

Works commenced in late-2016 and will continue until April, subject to weather conditions. Line marking will then be undertaken.

Project Scope

The project involves:

  • Resurfacing 15 km from north of Mandjoogoordap Drive to south of the Murray River bridge
  • Resurfacing six off-ramps at Mandjoogoordap Drive, Lakes Road and Pinjarra Road
