Railway Parade to Guildford Bridge - Cycle and Pedestrian Path

Overview

We are extending the WA Bicycle Network by replacing the old footpath from Railway Parade in Bassendean to Guildford Bridge with a new section of dedicated cycle and pedestrian path.

Construction has started and is expected to be completed in early 2016.  The new path will be three metres wide with complemented lighting, signage and line markings.

The project is funded by the State Government and will provide a safer link for cyclists and pedestrians travelling along the Perth-Midland rail line.

Construction Impacts

Works are to be carried out during daylight hours and traffic management will be in place as required while the old path is closed.

Please see detour map.

Property access will be maintained at all times and construction noise will be kept to a minimum.
