Onslow Road Upgrade

Project Overview

Onslow Ring Road, a $14.1 million project was officially opened by State Minister Bill Marmion on 24 May 2016.

The project involved construction of 3.5 kilometres of new highway, including new intersections and remedial works on the existing Onslow Road.  the road will guarantee access to the town, even in cyclone conditions.

Transport Minister Dean Nalder said the road and surrounding works were especially important because they provided all-weather access between the town centre and the recently upgraded Onslow Airport.
