Busy weekend in Perth

​There is a lot happening across Perth this weekend, so be sure to make a plan on how you’re getting from A to B.

Road closures and changes

East Parade will be closed southbound from Graham Farmer Freeway to Brown Street, 7pm Friday 29 November to 5am Monday 2 December, to allow us to safely install electronic signage.

From 1 December, City of Vincent are making changes to William and Brisbane streets, converting them to two-way. Visit their website for more information.


Saturday 30 November

  • Elton John is singing his heart out at HBF Park - gate opens at 5pm.
  • Pride Parade is throwing glitter on the streets of Northbridge - road closures from 4pm. Find out more on City of Perth website .
  • Sticky Fingers will rock the RAC Arena - doors open at 6pm.

Sunday 1 December

  • Perth Bikers Charity ride are donating their time, and presents, to ride in their annual event. Thousands of participants will depart Optus Stadium and head to HBF Arena in Joondalup. The following closures will be in place:
    • Graham Farmer Freeway westbound from Great Eastern Highway to Victoria Park Drive from 8am to 11am
    • Mitchell Freeway southbound from Hester to Shenton avenues, including access from Burns Beach Road and Neerabup Road from 9am to 11am
    • Lane closures on Joondalup Drive and Shenton Avenue from 9am to 11am
  • Grapevine Gathering will be on cloud wine at Sandalford Estate in the Swan Valley from 12pm. Traffic may be busy on West Swan Road and Reid Highway.
  • Perth Wildcats will be dribbling at RAC Arena - doors open 1pm.
  • Elton John is singing his heart out for a second night at HBF Park - gate opens at 5pm.
