HBF Run for a Reason

On Sunday 28 May, participants will run, walk and jog the streets of Perth for the annual HBF Run for a Reason.

To ensure the safety of all road users and participants, a number of major roads will be closed from 4am including:

  • Mitchell Freeway southbound from Graham Farmer Freeway;
  • Graham Farmer Freeway westbound from Great Eastern Highway; and
  • Causeway eastbound

All road users heading south along Mitchell Freeway will need to exit at Graham Farmer Freeway and follow detours eastbound through the Northbridge Tunnel. CBD traffic should then exit at East Parade while those wanting to access the freeway should follow detours to Great Eastern Highway and Canning Highway to re-enter the freeway.

Motorists are urged to avoid the area and plan ahead to avoid delays.

Event participants are encouraged to take advantage of free public transport provided with their registration. For more information, please visit the Transperth website.
