Phillips River Bridge completed

The new Phillips River Bridge on South Coast Highway is now open to traffic. The original structure was destroyed by widespread flooding across Western Australia in February 2017.

The bridge has been constructed to current engineering standards and covers a larger waterway than the previous structure, which was designed in the late 1960’s.

Transport Minister, Rita Saffioti has shared a video discussing the bridge completion, coordinated by our Great Southern Region.
