RIP Graham "Polly" Farmer

Image: Graham Polly Farmer Image.PNGGraham "Polly" Farmer was a transformational figure whose influence transcended sport.

Making an immense contribution to our community, he was a role model and an inspiration to all.

Apart from his legendary sporting prowess, Mr Farmer was committed to the belief that all Aboriginal children should be able to reach their birthright potential and established the Graham "Polly" Farmer Foundation to help Aboriginal people follow their dreams.

He holds the very rare honour of having a Western Australia freeway named after him. The freeway links West Perth and East Perth, which are coincidentally the two districts which Mr Farmer represented with distinction on the football arena.

We pay tribute to the great Graham "Polly" Farmer and extend sympathies and condolences to his family and friends.
