Change to agricultural vehicle curfews

Public holiday curfews applying to oversize agricultural vehicles have recently been reviewed.

Curfews have applied to oversize vehicles for the past 15 years, due to the increased risk associated with high volumes of tourist traffic, who are travelling on unfamiliar roads and are not familiar with the movement of oversize vehicles.

Following discussions with agricultural industry representatives, the curfew applying to oversize agricultural vehicles has been lifted on all roads except Perth metropolitan roads and 11 major regional roads. The revised curfew only applies to oversize agricultural vehicles in excess of 5.5 metres in width.
