What we look for

We are seeking students for our Cadetship or Graduate Programs who are passionate about developing our state’s road transport infrastructure in an innovative manner and strive to achieve results. We look for proactive and enthusiastic students that are interested in working and living around Western Australia – particularly in regional locations.

You will receive a well-structured rotation plan, hands on mentoring and formal training to support your development. If you are looking to build your future and grow as a person and a professional, our Graduate Program is where it all begins.

How do I apply?

Vacation work occurs during the summer academic vacation period and is only available for University and TAFE students in relevant disciplines. You will need to email and clearly explain the following:

  • Academic transcript – course and year of study
  • Current resume
  • Brief outline of why you want to gain vacation work at Main Roads

Recruitment for vacation work 2019/2020 is currently open.

Graduate opportunities for University & TAFE students will open mid-year 2019 for February 2020 start. Advertisement will be listed on Jobs WA website . It is strongly recommended you register for ‘job alert’ to be emailed to you directly.
