The WA road system has been divided into ten (10) heavy vehicle road networks (listed to at the bottom of this page)..

Network 1 is the largest and covers all roads statewide with a list of exceptions. Networks 2 to 10 progressively become more and more restricted. Network 10 is the smallest and covers road train combinations between 36.5 and 53.5 metres in length (link to networks).

Helpful information about using the permit road networks

All the maps are a graphical representation of the road table and must be used as a guide only.

Some documents are very large and may take some time to download using dial-up connections to the internet. The CD-ROM issued with the permit (available for purchase from Heavy Vehicle Operations) also contains the documents.
