HEAVY VEHICLE OPERATIONS IS MOVING

Advice of Change of Address and
Christmas / New Year Business Arrangements

Main Roads Heavy Vehicle Operations Branch wishes to advise its customers that we are moving to new premises at:

70 Pilbara Street in Welshpool from Tuesday 6 January 2009.

Preparation for the move has already commenced with the actual move itself scheduled to happen over the weekend immediately after New Year. 

Whilst every effort is being made to maintain normal service delivery right up to the actual move dates, some disruptions will occur.  Accordingly, in addition to the normal public holiday breaks over Xmas / New Year, our offices will also be closed for business at the following times:

OFFICE CLOSURES

Friday 19 December 2008 from 1pm

Friday 2 January 2009 – ALL DAY

Monday 5 January 2009 – ALL DAY

During these times, Heavy Vehicle Operations will be unable to issue permits and will be providing emergency services only.

Operators are encouraged to have any business requiring permit assessment and/or permit issue or renewal completed prior to breaking for Xmas.

Main Roads apologises for any inconvenience that may be caused by these arrangements.  Normal business will resume from Tuesday 6 January 2009 at our new premises.

There will be no changes to our telephone and fax numbers or postal address after the move.
